Villa Interior Architecture and Design
A villa gives you space. Good design gives that space purpose.

A villa is rarely one home. It is a place to receive people, a place to raise a family, and a place to be left alone, and those three things want different rooms, different light and different amounts of quiet. Most villas are handed over as a set of rooms. The work is turning them into a home that holds all three without any one of them crowding the others.
We start with the interior architecture, before any finish is chosen. Which walls stay and which open up. Where guests arrive and how far they come in. Whether the majlis should feel part of the house or apart from it. How ceilings, openings and levels carry daylight from the façade into the middle of the plan. How the kitchen behaves on a Tuesday and with forty people. Where the children’s noise should reach and where it should stop. Those answers set the plan, and the plan sets everything after it.
Then we design the whole experience as one environment. Materials that repeat across rooms so the house reads as a single home. Lighting planned in layers, so the same room works at breakfast and at a dinner. Storage drawn before furniture, so you are not solving clutter after you have paid for the joinery. Custom pieces where nothing off the shelf fits the space you actually have.
We can stop at a documented design, or carry the villa through construction, with the structural and MEP engineers coordinated by one team. Say which when you write to us and we will scope it accordingly.
What the scope can include
- Interior architecture: layout, walls, openings and circulation
- Interior concept, moodboards and material direction
- Materials, finishes and colour schedules
- Ceiling design, lighting direction and electrical layouts
- Furniture selection and procurement
- Custom furniture and joinery design
- 3D visualisations of the key spaces
- Construction drawings for the appointed contractor
- Full construction, where you choose design and build
- Site supervision and coordination through to handover
- Styling and the final touches
What sits outside it
- Authority submissions and approval fees
- Structural engineering and MEP design, which we coordinate but do not stamp
- Landscape design beyond the terraces that read as part of the interior
- Anything the condition of the building reveals once work starts, which is priced when it is known
Projects we designed this way
All projectsQuestions homeowners ask
Do you build the villa as well as design it?
We do both. You can take the design and appoint your own contractor, or you can have us carry it through construction on one contract. The second is usually calmer, because the person who drew it is the person answering for it.
How long does a villa take?
Design runs nine to twelve weeks from first conversation to a documented design. Construction depends on the scope and the condition of the house, and we give you a programme before anything is signed.
Can we live in the house during the work?
Sometimes, if the work is contained to one floor or one wing. We will tell you honestly at the first visit, because the answer changes the programme and the cost.
What does it cost?
Design is quoted on the size and scope of the home. Construction is quoted against a priced scope of works, and we do not start until you have seen that document.
Do you change the structure of the villa?
We redesign the inside of the house: its walls, openings, ceilings, levels and the way the rooms connect. Where a change touches the structure, a licensed structural engineer checks it before it reaches a drawing, and nothing is built until the approvals are in place.
